Jamieson Dairies was established in 2009 and is sharemilked by Netherbrook Dairies Ltd.
The property is 388 ha and is located 20 km North of Ashburton. 1,425 cows will be milked this season. The farm is irrigated by one full pivot and one half pivot, there are two Rotorainers. The water is via a deep well bore and a surface pond.
There is a new 80 bail rotary Farm Dairy with a De Laval milking plant. There is a Mahana blue heat exchanger for energy efficiency and an automatic teat sprayer.
The housing consists of a near new large four bedroom Manager's home with office, the home has established surroundings that have been extensively planted with trees and shrubs. The staff housing consists of four established three bedroom homes and there are also two sleep outs.
The property has mature shelterbelt trees located to the South. Other trees are well positioned at various locations about the property to provide stock shelter and add to the aesthetics of the property.
