Lacmor Farm Description
Lacmor Dairies Ltd is 398 hectares and calves 1,500 cows, milking 1,450 throughout the year. It has an 80 bail rotary cowshed with Nu-Pulse milking system. Lacmor farm has four houses including a four bedroom managers house, two x three bedroom new houses with double garages and a four bedroom single quarters with four bay car garaging. All accommodation is of modern brick construction to the highest standard.
Lacmor is fully irrigated from three wells via three rotorainers and a central pivot irrigation system.
Lacmor runs two herds on a rotational round to suit grass growth. The whole herd is grazed off during the winter from the 15th of June to the 30th July. Cows are fed 700 kilos DM per cow in supplement.
