Mitcham Holdings was established in 2009 and is sharemilked by Cartrum Dairies Ltd.
The property is 207 ha and is located 20 km North of Ashburton and 15 km West of Rakaia. 750 cows will be milked this season through a 60 bail rotary Farm Dairy that was built in 2003. The farm is spray irrigated with two Pivot Irrigators and one Rotorainer. It has a deep bore water system.
There are three dwellings on the property, including a new three bedroom plus office, Manager's home. There is new staff accommodation that comprises two self contained attached two bedroom flats, separated by two single garages. There is also a three bedroom established home which has undergone renovations (2009) with a new wet area, new bathroom and new carpet.
The property has mature shelterbelt trees on the Northern and North Western boundaries. Other trees are well positioned at various locations about the property to provide stock shelter and add to the aesthetics of the property.
