Located in the mighty Waikato, mid-way between Te Awamutu and Otorohanga, Hinewai Holdings was purchased by Spectrum Group in 2015.
With gently rolling to flat contours, farm improvements have been carefully planned and managed which has resulted in Hinewai being the premium, high performing property that it is today.
Like many Waikato dairy farms, at 217ha Hinewai is the result of several farm acquisitions over time to achieve scale and efficiency. The property has modern housing which meet the healthy homes standards and necessary infrastructure, some of which has undergone more recent upgrades to operate efficiently.

A 36 aside herringbone dairy with ACR’s and auto teat sprayer.
Upgraded stock water system.
New effluent system including a fully lined pond build in 2019 with pumping to 35% of the farm.
New calf rearing facilities and shedding built in 2022.
Hinewai Holdings is spring calving 700 cows annually.
